The College Of Healing

Professional, ethical, in-depth training for safe and competent healing practice since 1983

Why People Choose The College Of Healing

Since 1983, The College of Healing has been a pioneer in developing professional standards for healing training in the United Kingdom. Our work has influenced national frameworks and continues to shape ethical practice today.

We help people express themselves with confidence and resilience through our focus on self-awareness, self-responsibility and self-development as a route to wellness, making it easier for people to manage their anxiety and energy levels in all personal and professional relationships.

We support people in using healing in their own lives through guided learning, reflection and practical experience, so that they can create balance and harmony in everything they do and access the energy needed to sustain the wellbeing of themselves and others.

We ensure best practice in Healing by safe-guarding Self and Other… offering a clear and practical approach to helping people measure and manage the outcomes of their actions through developing boundaries, protection and grounding, especially in the Healer-Client relationship.

Some of us came to the College with little or no previous experience; others after many years of using their skills, either with family and friends or in professional practice.

Our Mission

Although people used to think that Healing was a ‘gift’ that could not be taught, a breakthrough moment in the history of Healing was in 1983, when the College of Healing in Malvern demonstrated that Healing can be taught, can be learnt, and is a positive, life changing experience that is accessible to and can be practised by everyone.

Our mission is to promote and deliver high standards in Healing training and practice which support the outcomes of a range of other health interventions such as surgery, medication, and complementary therapies. We give people tools to use in their own self-care, self-healing and self-development which helps them better care for others.
