Annie Drury

Annie photo from JeanAfter initially qualifying with a degree in Food Science in her twenties, Annie started her spiritual journey looking for answers that science could not provide. This path led to her qualifying as a Psychotherapist, focusing particularly on the Transpersonal Model, and achieving an MA in Art & Psychotherapy.

Healing developed in conjunction with her psychotherapeutic practice, giving an integrative approach to the psychotherapeutic encounter.

The private workshops and groups Annie continues to run are on self-development and a holistic approach to health and healing. However, Annie feels that her most profound spiritual journey and growth has been in her relationships, with partners and with the family. Annie feels that the way we communicate with, and treat each other, is the most important criteria when valuing ourselves and others.

Annie has been with the College of Healing since 1985 and currently lectures college courses at Runnings Park and in the community. She takes her holistic approach into the community via Adult/Further Education, the Police Force, NHS and, Child and Family Services.

Annie wrote the Energy and Therapeutic Relationship Modules for the Complementary Therapy Degree Course at WolverhamptonUniversity.

Annie has co-authored a book with Mark Lambert on spiritual intimacy and has started her second.
